Hale Lani (Heavenly Home) is one of the Big Island's nicest luxury vacation rentals. Boasting complete privacy, the ideal elevation, and spectacular views, the property is perfect for larger groups, family reunions, small weddings and other events. The 4,700SF home, with living room, gourmet kitchen, dining room, family room, 4 bedrooms plus bedroom/study, 2 master suites, and 5 baths, can accommodate up to 18 guests in comfort and style.

The home is completly furnished with all the extras and amenities needed for truly comfortable living. All the sleeping areas have TV/DVD's and the family/media/game room has a full size pool table, a game table and a really big flat screen TV/DVD and 700 classic DVD collection. There is cable, internet and wi-fi throughout.

Lush landscaping abounds and the large yard features a resort style pool, with swim up palapa wet bar and attached sandy bottom wading pool. An adjacent spa can easily accomodate up to 8.

This property is close to everything including the airport, downtown Kailua Kona, Honokohau Harbor, shopping (Costco is 3 minutes away), several beaches, golf courses and all the Big Island activities you can imagine.

House Rules

  • RENT AND OCCUPANCY 
    The minimum stay is 7 nights. The entire rent, taxes, security deposit and cleaning fee are due 60 days prior arrival. The maximum number of guests is as stated on the confirmation. Additional guests may be accommodated for an additional fee. Additional days may be added to the stay, if available, at published rates. There is no refund for early departure.

    RENT, PREPAYMENT AND DAMAGE DEPOSIT 
    Total rent is the nightly rent times the number of nights, plus tax of 13.42%, plus a refundable $500 damage deposit and a $500 cleaning fee. When the reservation is confirmed a prepayment of 20% of the rent including tax plus damage deposit and cleaning fee is due. Acceptable forms of payment are credit card (MC /VISA), personal check (reservation is confirmed when check clears), cashier's check or money order.

    If a reservation is canceled 61 days or more prior to arrival, the prepayment will be returned except for a $300 cancellation fee. If a reservation is canceled 60 to 31 days prior to arrival, 1/2 of the prepayment will be returned. Only the damage deposit and cleaning fee will be returned if a reservation is canceled less than 30 days prior to stay. The $300 cancellation fee will accrue as a credit to future bookings by the cancelling party.

    The $500 damage deposit will be returned after departure, barring any losses or damages to the home, or abuse of these policies. The cost of repairing or replacing damaged items (normal wear and tear excepted) will be deducted from the damage deposit and/or charged to the guest if damage exceeds the deposit.

    CHECK-IN AND CHECK-OUT 
    Check-in time is 4:00 pm unless other arrangements are made in advance. Guests must advise us of arrival time. They will be met at the property for a greeting and brief tour. Check-out time is 10:00 am unless other arrangements are made in advance. Failure to comply with check-out procedures may result in forfeiture of part or all of the deposit.

    RULES OF THE HOUSE 
    Smoking is prohibited indoors in all properties. Outdoor smoking is allowed providing all butts are disposed of appropriately.

    Pool and spa use is at the guest's own risk. No lifeguards are provided. Children must be supervised at all times when using pools or spas. Swimming pools are not heated but are usually between 75 and 85 degrees year round. Spas are heated and on timers.

    Properties are in exclusive residential neighborhoods. Guests must at all times respect the privacy, peace and quiet of neighbors. Loud or obnoxious behavior and partying beyond a reasonable hour is not acceptable. Large groups having special events will be advised in advance of the rules for guest parking, music, catering and outside contract services.

    Personal property is at the sole risk and responsibility of the guest. Personal property left on premises will be returned at the request and expense of the guest. Lost keys, remotes, gate openers, etc will be charged at the rate of $50 per item.

    Failure to comply with these rules may result in forfeiture of part or all of the deposit.
