Description
This stunning mountain contemporary home is perfect for your next family gathering or reunion with friends. Remodeled in 2010, the home is located near national forest land, and two miles from the center of South Lake Tahoe.

The great room, dining room, and kitchen have 20 foot ceilings, and have all the amenities for large groups and gourmet cooking. Spacious seating is available for entertaining within the home. In the summer, BBQ and dine on the large deck.

The warm great room has enough seating for 12 to relax and watch a Blue-Ray movie or catch a game on the large screen TV. 

The master bedroom features all the amenities of luxury: a giant CA King sleigh bed, gas fireplace, large flat screen TV with a Blue-Ray disc player, sitting area, jetted tub, dual head shower, and walk in closet.

The second King bedroom and all of the comfortable Queen bedrooms, feature flat screen TVs with DVD players.

The Bunkroom has two bunk beds and a trundle to comfortably sleep 5, along with a walk-in closet to store all their gear.

The second living area is warm and inviting with a fireplace, large flat screen TV and Blue-Ray disc player. The Poker Table is ready for a few hands of Texas Hold 'Em, and the deck is a great place to sit and visit while relaxing.

On the third level, the game room awaits. Your guests can enjoy a game of pool by the fireplace, play a few games on the Wii, or take in a movie on the large flat screen TV. After a long day on the slopes or hiking in the National Forest, you can relax your muscles in the elegant steam shower, or the large hot tub.

The home has an abundance of spaces for children, with three bunk beds and three twin beds, a Pack-and-Play, Superyard safety gate, bouncy seat, activity table, and high-chair for babies, as well as a few toys and plenty of Wii games. 

For your comfort and convenience, this home offers dual climate controls and two laundry rooms.

Conveniently located 2.7 miles from the Lake, 2.8 miles from Heavenly, and 4 miles from the casinos, there are many activities in South Lake Tahoe to make an enjoyable and relaxing vacation for you and your group.

House Rules

  • CHECK-IN TIME is AFTER 4 P.M. PST AND CHECKOUT is 10 A.M. PST. No Early Check-in or late checkout.

     

    This is a NON SMOKING unit.

    PETS - PETS are not permitted in rental units under any conditions.

     

    BACHELOR (or similar) PARTIES are not accepted in our home. Deceiving the owners will result in complete forfeiture of deposit and all monies relating to the rental, as well as eviction. Excessive partying is unacceptable.

     

    DAMAGE/RESERVATION DEPOSIT - A reservation deposit of $1000 is required. This must be received within five (5) days of booking the reservation. The deposit automatically converts to a security/damage deposit upon arrival. The deposit is NOT applied toward rent; however, it is refundable within fourteen (14) days of departure, provided the following provisions are met.

     

    ·       No damage is done to unit or its contents, beyond normal wear and tear.

    ·       Maximum occupancy (20) is not exceeded

    ·       No charges are incurred due to contraband, pets, or collection of rents or services rendered during the stay.

    ·       All debris, rubbish and discards are placed in dumpster, and soiled dishes are placed in the dishwasher and cleaned.

    ·       Unit is left locked.

    ·       All charges accrued during the stay are paid prior to departure.

    ·       No linens are lost or damaged.

    ·       NO early check-in or late checkout.

    ·       Drug use has not occurred on the property. Any violations to this will result in a loss of the full deposit.

    ·       Furniture has not been moved. Any violations to this will result in a loss of the full deposit.

    ·       Smoking has not occurred inside of the home. Any violations to this will result in a loss of the full deposit.

    ·       Excessive trash is not left at the home. Excessive trash requires a haul-off of the trash and will cost the renter $200, which will be deducted from the deposit.

    ·       The renter is not evicted by the owner (or representative of the owner), the local law enforcement, or the property management company employed by John and Maureen Dillie.

    ·       If damages exceed the deposit amount, renter is responsible for that excess amount.

     

    PAYMENT – An advance payment equal to 50% of the rental rate is required sixty (60) days before arrival. The advance payment will be applied toward the rent. Please make payments via credit card or personal checks payable to Maureen Dillie. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The BALANCE OF RENT is due fourteen (14) days before your arrival date.


    CANCELLATIONS– Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60) days prior to the arrival date are subject to a 5% cancellation fee or $200, whichever is greater.  Cancellations or changes that result in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival date, forfeit the full advance payment and reservation deposit. Cancellation or early departure does not warrant any refund of rent.

    MONTHLY RESERVATION CANCELLATIONS – Monthly renters must cancel one hundred twenty (120) days prior to check-in. Monthly renters who make a change that results in a shortened stay must be made at least ninety (90) days prior to check-in.


    MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to twenty (20) persons. Any violations to this may result in a loss of the full deposit.

     

    MINIMUM STAY – This property requires a two (2) night minimum stay during the off season and four (4) nights during the peak season.  Longer minimum stays may be required during holiday periods.

    INCLUSIVE FEES – Rates include a one-time linen & towel setup. Amenity fees are included in the rental rate.


    NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE –While linens and bath towels are included in the unit, daily maid service is not included in the rental rate.   However, it is available at an additional rate. We suggest you bring beach towels. We do not permit towels or linens to be taken from the units.

     

    RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.


    FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in. This includes bachelor parties, or parties that are similar in nature (excessive partying or drug use).


    WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.

    PARKING – Parking is limited to six (6) vehicles.  Vehicles are to be parked in designated parking areas only.  Parking on the road is permitted.  However, any illegally parked cars are subject to towing; applicable fines/towing fees are the sole responsibility of the vehicle owner.

     

    HOT TUB – No children under the age of 12 permitted in hot tubs at any time.  When using the hot tub, remember there is a certain health risk associated with this facility. Use at your own risk.  Our housekeepers drain, sanitize, refill and replenish chemicals in all tubs prior to your arrival; therefore, it may not be warm until later that evening. Do not take sanitizing dispenser out of the water when spa is not in use as this can prevent the spa from maintaining a safe level of sanitizing level, which can be hazardous to your health and the spa.

    DO NOT STAND ON THE HOT TUB COVERS.  Hot tub covers are for insulation purposes and are not designed to support a person or persons.  They will break and you will be charged for replacement. Never use a shovel to remove snow from hot tub cover as it can easily tear vinyl, which will result in forfeiture of security deposit.

    Remember when not using the hot tub, leave cover on so falling debris including pollen,

    pine needles / cones, bugs, etc. will not get in water and damage spa, hot tub will stay warm.Failure to follow rules for hot tub may result in sacrifice of security deposit.

     

    FIREPLACES – The fireplaces are non-vented gas log fired firebox.  Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplaces.  Please keep children away from fireplaces that are turned on, fingers/hands/other body parts can be severely burned by hot fireplaces. Owners are not responsible for any injuries.

     

    ICE- We do have a service that removes snow and ice from the driveway, however, we are not liable for injury that occurs due to snow/ice/icicles while on our property. Please use caution when walking, or sledding, while occupying the property.

     

    WATER/SEWER- DO NOT FLUSH anything other than toilet paper.  No feminine products should be flushed at anytime.  If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you will be charged damages.

     

    STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Our neighborhood streets are well maintained; however, we highly recommend four wheel drive and/or chains during the snow months. We do not refund due to road conditions.

     

    TRAVEL INSURANCE  – We highly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance.  If you wish to purchase travel insurance, go to www.InsureMyTrip.com for details and to purchase.

     

    LATE CHECK-OUT FEE- Late Check-Outs will be assessed a $150 late check-out fee which will be deducted from the deposit.

     

     

    Our unit is privately owned; the owners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise. Named renter will be occupying home throughout rental terms.
