Our family has owned and vacationed at The Almond House since 1998 and it is truly our home away from home. We love the Caribbean simple, carefree lifestyle and our house reflects that style, taking advantage of sea breezes and covered decks. We have previously shared our house with others via word of mouth and have just recently begun to offer it as a vacation rental. We’re happy to share what we know about Roatan; the wonderful people, the beautiful natural environment and the undersea world.

Island villa style with lofty, airy spaces and large covered decks. The Almond House, set amid lush tropical gardens full of flowers, hummingbirds and blue-green geckos, is about a minute’s walk to the water's edge and the long sweeping white sand beach of Palmetto Bay located on the north shore of Roatan.
The natural bay, just inside the reef, includes a one mile long beach, dock and harbor. Diving and snorkeling on the reef are excellent and the reef is just a few hundred feet off shore. The pool, activity center and restaurant are tucked just beyond the tree line on the beach and are part of the residential resort community of over 106 acres of secluded and protected beachfront and hillside covered with tropical vegetation.
The Almond House is fully equipped and has three bedrooms, two full bathrooms and sleeps six people. The main living area and bedrooms open out onto large covered decks, a wonderful place to enjoy morning coffee and afternoon cocktails.
