We have had such great guests so far and our first year have had three already return and several others in the planning stages.

This beautiful, recently renovated cabin sits on 1+ acre of wooded land on the side of a hill overlooking the Trackrock Valley. Off in the distance, the tallest point in Georgia (4,784 ft) can be seen - Brasstown Bald Mountain and directly beneath the first and second deck, one can see a winding country road that passes a white-steepled church. You can hear cows calling out to each other and many other peaceful sounds as you drink that first morning cup of coffee on the lower deck or a cup of hot chocolate around the new fire pit.
It's hard to believe that only two hours northeast of the hustling and bustling noise of Atlanta, you can find such a tranquil setting and the opportunity to escape. Town is not that far as the picturesque town of Blairsville is only eight (8) miles away. You will pass over some of the most beautiful country you will ever see as you make your way over the winding road that leads to Blairsville.

This is a NON-SMOKING unit.
PETS are not permitted in rental units or maintained on the grounds.
MAXIMUM OCCUPANCY – The maximum number of guests is limited to 6 persons.
NO DAILY HOUSEKEEPING SERVICE – linens and bath towels are included in the unit but there is no daily housekeeping service.
RATE CHANGES – Rates subject to change without notice.
FALSIFIED RESERVATIONS – Any reservation obtained under false pretense will be subject to forfeiture of advance payment, deposit and/or rental money, and the party will not be permitted to check in.

RENTAL DEPOSITS- When booking a future reservation, there will be a charge of $100.00 to secure the booking. This deposit is due immediately. You will then receive an electronic billing for the remainder which is due no later than 14 days prior to your arrival. If you need to cancel your first deposit, we must receive this notice of cancellation at least 45 days prior to your arrival date. You will have the option when booking your reservation to obtain insurance through CSA "the same company cruise companies use". For a low cost, your entire vacation can be protected and your deposits as well.
If you must cancel after final payment is made, your money will be fully refunded if we are able to book the cabin for the length of your booking. If we are not able to book the cabin for the same period of time, we will provide a credit of any deposits made against a future booking. We also recommend travel trip insurance to cover your booking as you would obtain for a cruise. There will be no refunds made for bookings during the month of October or a holiday!
WRITTEN EXCEPTIONS – Any exceptions to the above mentioned policies must be approved in writing in advance.
FIREPLACES – The fireplace is a wood-burning fireplace. Wood for the fireplace is furnished. Please do not throw any paper or other combustible materials in the fireplace. Leave the ashes in the fireplace and close the door to the fireplace when you leave. The ashes may still be hot enough to start a fire. Check the position of the flue prior to starting your fire. The handle left is closed, to the right is open.
WATER AND SEPTIC – The cabin is on a well and septic system. The septic system is very effective; however, it will clog up if improper material is flushed. DO NOT FLUSH
Effective 4/25/2012anything other than toilet paper. No feminine products should be flushed at anytime. If it is found that feminine products have been flushed and clog the septic system, you could be charged damages of up to two hundred dollars ($200).
STORM POLICY/ROAD CONDITIONS – No refunds will be given for storms. Mountain roads can be curvy and steep. Gravel drives are well maintained. In the event of snow or ice, if the renter is unable to access the property, all deposits and fees will be credited towards a future rental.
DISPOSAL OF GARBAGE – Since there are black bears in this area, all garbage must be placed in a plastic garbage bags (provided) and placed in the garbage can that is provided.
RELEASE OF LIABILITY - The Homeowners are not responsible for any accidents, injuries or illness that occurs while on the premises or its facilities. The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premises.

Place all soiled linens and towels in the laundry room

During the summer, close windows and do not turn off the AC unit.
During the winter, close windows, do not turn off the heater
