Escape the tourist traps....Located 30 miles/45 min south of Kailua-Kona with an perfect year-round climate, at 1000 ft. above sea level on the side of Mauna Loa Volcano, SKC is authentic Hawaii unspoiled by crowds and resorts. Truly the antidote to civilization. A great location that offers many options for experiencing the Big Island's natural diversity. Just 4 miles from the closest place to jump in the ocean and 10-minutes to Hookena Beach State Park for sunbathing and swimming with dolphins. A 20-minute drive brings you to the famous Puuhonua o'Honaunau (Place of Refuge) National Historic Park and Kealakekua Bay where you can kayak to Captain Cook's monument and snorkel with an endless variety of tropical fish and sea turtles & dolphins. And best of all, you're only 60-minutes from Madame Peles live action at Volcanos National Park. There is also an 2.5 mi hike to beautiful undeveloped shoreline on the property.

Shrouded in tropical foliage, the stand alone Cottage and Bathroom epitomizes the Hawaiian experience loaded with everything you wll need for an peaceful recharge.. The Cottage features an plush and comfy queen sized bed, WIFI, radio, Sattelite TV, small refrig, micro-wave, toaster, coffee/tea service. We supply the coffee, fruit and mac nuts. More extensive cooking available in the garden grill/dining area. All connected by deck, surrounded by tropical foliage. Also, a full range of things you might like for the beach like lawnchairs, towels, boogie boards, unbrella, coolers, etc.

Our water source is 100% rainwater caught from the roof of our home and stored in catchment tanks. Drinking water is made available to you in the kitchen for drinking and cooking. 

If you'd like, we would be happy to give you a farm tour, let you know about Natural Farming, assist you in things to do, places to go and local happenings. If you prefer to have 100 % privacy that is fine too. The farm is a working organic natural farm with chickens, 2 friendly outdoor cats Luna and Lee lee & large gentle German Sheperd named Leo, plants, trees & gardens so tending to the farm might be occurring during your stay. Your privacy is fully respected.

We have gotten very popular and thankful for many returning guests. Reserve your dates as far as possible. Our rates have been the same for ten years, (the same for everyone) without cleaning nor additional hidden fees
WE CURRENTLY HAVE DATES AVAILABLE.
For four night minimum, $65 per night, $400 weekly. Single or Double occupancy only. All plus 13.41% Hi taxes. We include ample fresh Kona Coffee, Tropical Fruits and Macadamia Nuts grown organically here!
We hold dates with $100 deposit and the balance due upon arrival.
